Supporting users can create prescriptions on behalf of a provider within ScriptSure. This article walks through the complete workflow, including enrollment, provider approval, prescribing permissions, creating prescriptions, and submitting prescriptions for review or direct delivery to the pharmacy. It also demonstrates how to prescribe using a saved favorite and how to create a new prescription from scratch.
Step 1: Go to Settings > E- Prescriptions > ScriptSure Enrollment.
Step 2: Scroll down to find your username. Click Send Assistant Invite.
Step 3: The invited user will now receive an email to complete registration.
Step 4: To register with ScriptSure, enter your email address and create a password.
Step 5: Click Complete Signup. Once this is done, Scripture enrollment is complete.
Step 6: Return to the Prospyr. Navigate back to Settings > E- Prescriptions > ScriptSure Enrollment .
Step 7: You should now see that the user is registered.
Step 8: Next check the box next to the name of the provider the user will be prescribing for, then click Request Access.
Note: Once a user requests access, the provider must review the request and grant permissions. Steps 9–12 are completed by the provider in ScriptSure and are shown from the provider's view.
Step 9: When a user requests prescribing access, the provider will see an Action Required notification on their ScriptSure home screen and in their email. On this notification, the provider needs to click Yes to view the request. (This view is from the provider's dashboard)
Step 10: Next, a window will open where the provider can set the user's prescribing permissions. Click Edit in the top-right corner to make selections.
Step 11: Select the permissions you would like to grant to the user by checking the box below each permission. Available options include:
Send non-controlled prescriptions directly to the pharmacy – If this option is not selected, prescriptions created by the user will be sent to the provider for review and approval before they are sent to the pharmacy.

Note: Controlled substance prescriptions always require provider approval and cannot be sent directly by a supporting user.
Step 12: Once the provider has selected the appropriate permissions, click Grant. The user now has prescribing access.
