How to Apply and Send a Favorite Prescription Once It's Been Created

Step 1: Go back into New Prescription, select the patient name, and click Favorites.

Image

Step 2: Find the favorite from the list and click Load.

Image

Step 3: From here confirm that the directions, quantity, unit type, and refills are correct. If not, you can edit from this page. Once everything looks good click Next: Pharmacy.

Image

Step 4: On the next page Review all information, including medication name, quantity, directions, pharmacy information, and patient name. If all is correct, click Review 1 Prescription in ScriptSure.

Image

Step 5: This brings you to the ScriptSure review page, where you have one final opportunity to review the prescription details and make any necessary changes.

From here, you will see two options:

  • Send to Pharmacy – Opens the final approval screen, where you can complete a final review before the prescription is sent to the selected pharmacy.

  • Send to Queue – Places the prescription in the provider's approval queue. Once submitted to the queue, your part of the process is complete. The provider will need to review and approve the prescription before it can be sent to the pharmacy.

Image

Step 6: If you select Send to Pharmacy, this final screen will open. Confirm everything is correct and click Approve and Send. At this point the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy.

Step 7: Click Done to finish.
