How to Use the Patient Table

Search, filter, save views, and export patient data from the Patient Table.

Learn how to use the Patient Table to view patient information, apply filters, save filter views, and export patient data to a CSV file.

Step 1: Click on Patients.

Step 2: Use the search bar to find an individual patient by name, email, or phone number.

Step 3: Click Status to filter by patient status such as Active, Lead, Fired, or Deceased.

Step 4: Remove filters individually by clicking their name or click clear to remove all filters at once.

Step 5: Next, you can also filter by using Patient Tags.

Step 6: Use Presets to save commonly used filter combinations for future use. Click to Create a Preset, and type the filter prompt in the text box.

Step 7: Once the filter prompt is entered, click Generate.

Step 8: Then, customize the filter even further by manually setting additional conditions if needed and click Save Preset.

Step 9: Next name the Filter Preset and include a description (optional).

Step 10: Click Save Preset.

Step 11: Access saved presets from the dropdown. Click a preset to instantly filter the patient list.

Step 12: Remove a preset filter by clicking the X.

Step 10: Use Advanced filters for quick, one-off filtering. These aren’t saved but function just like presets.

Step 11: There are five commonly used filters preconfigured and available for immediate use:

  • Appointment Today

  • Upcoming Appointment

  • Active Membership

  • Unused Wallet Balance

  • Recently Added

Step 12: Adjust the page size at the bottom to choose between 10, 20, or 50 patients per page.

Step 13: Scroll through page ranges as needed to view more patients.

Step 14: Use the scroll bar to review patient details in the table, including email, phone, date of birth, last seen date, last procedure, and creation date.

Step 15: Click the three dots next to a patient to create an appointment or delete the patient.

Step 16: You can also export the filtered patient list to CSV by selecting Export CSV. Then click Download once the file is ready to export.

Step 17: From the patient table, click on a patient’s name to be taken to their patient profile. Use the arrow button to return to the full patient list.
