Photo Markup allows you to place injection points directly on patient photos and link them to consumables associated with the service being performed. When the markup is saved, Prospyr automatically records the consumables used and updates inventory levels, helping maintain accurate treatment documentation and inventory tracking.
Consumable Tracking Options
Consumables can be tracked using Photo Markup or manual entry. This article focuses on the Photo Markup process.
Step 1: Go to Patients.
Step 2: Search for the patient. Then click their name to open their profile.
Step 3: Next, navigate to Appointments.
Step 4: Find and select the relevant appointment.
Step 5: View appointment details.
Step 6: Navigate to the note section and click New Note.
Step 7: Select Create a Blank Note.
Step 8: Click Insert.
Step 9: Choose Photo Markup.
Step 10: Choose a photo template.
Step 11: Use the markup tools on the left to indicate treatment areas and actions.
Eraser: Removes unwanted markings from the image.
Text: Adds typed labels or notes to the image.
Arrow: Adds arrows to highlight specific areas.
Draw: Allows you to draw freehand directly on the image.
Injection Point: Places injection markers on the image and lets you document units used at each location.
Move: Moves the image around the screen.
Select: Select and reposition markup elements.
Step 12: Use the Injection Point Tool to add injection points and document the units used at each injection site. Before placing injection points, click the green box to set the desired unit amount.
Step 13: Add injection points and unit amount where needed.
Step 14: On the right-hand side, you'll find the Consumable Management panel. Select a markup or injection point to view and confirm the associated consumable and unit amount.
Step 15: Adjust units for each injection point if required.
Step 16: To link a consumable to an injection point, search for the consumable using the search bar or select it from the automatically populated list.
Step 17: Click Save Markup. After Save Markup is selected, the consumables will be removed from your inventory.
Step 18: Scroll down to confirm consumable, type, and quantity that were removed.
Step 19: To double check that the correct consumable and amount was removed go to Settings > Inventory > Inventory.
Step 20: Next, enter the consumable name in the search box, then click the History (clock) icon to view the inventory.
Step 21: Confirm the inventory transaction is correct.
