Managing and Updating Your Service Catalog

This video will cover how to add, update, or remove services from your service catalog. It will also show you how to control things like online booking, consents, and durations for this service.

  1. Accessing the Service Catalog

    • Go to settings and choose catalog to access your service catalog.

  2. Creating a New Service

    • Hit the create button to add a new service.

  3. Making Changes to an Existing Service

    • Filter the list by service category or search for a specific service to find the service you want to update

    • Click on the name of the service you want to modify.

  4. Managing Service Details

    • Update the service name, which will appear on invoices and booking options.

    • Add pricing information and choose a color for the service.

    • Select or create appointment types and service categories.

    • Set pricing options: fixed price, per unit pricing, or custom pricing.

    • Designate if the service accepts gratuity and set tax rates.

  5. Provider and Location Settings

    • Choose providers eligible to perform the service and locations where the service can be offered.

    • Select any necessary devices or exclude incompatible services.

  6. Controlling Service Duration

    • Set the duration of the appointment and any buffer time needed for device cleaning.

    • Customize duration for returning patients versus new patients.

  7. Online Booking Management

    • Toggle online booking on or off.

    • Set rules for online booking eligibility based on patient status (existing, new leads, new patients).

    • Control booking requirements such as prior service clearance.

  8. Additional Service Settings

    • Send patient portal invites or standard transactional messaging flows.

    • Activate or deactivate services in the catalog.

    • Link service-specific consents, forms, and pre-/post-care instructions.

    • Specify if the service requires a deposit and set the deposit amount.

    • Link service consents to inventory.

  9. Finalizing Updates

    • Review settings and hit update service to save changes.
