How to Create Memberships in Prospyr

Step 1: Go to Settings from your Prospyr dashboard.

Step 2: Click on Catalog and select Memberships.

Step 3: Click New Membership.

You’ll see two types of memberships: one-time and subscription. Let’s start with a one-time membership.

Step 4: Choose BSA as the membership type.

Step 5: Enter a membership name and description. This helps members understand what they’re getting.

Step 6: You can select a tag color and add a photo to make it visually distinctive.

Step 7: Set the price for the membership.

Step 8: Customize the sales tax rate if needed.

Step 9: Assign wallet credit to the member—this can match the price or be customized.

Step 10: Enable a Wallet Discount if you want members to receive a percentage off future purchases.

Step 11: Select Display in Storefront so members can purchase it directly.

Step 12: Require an agreement or consent form if necessary.

Step 13: Click Next.

Step 14: Add coupons that membership holders will receive, then specify how many and how long they last.

Step 15: Click Create Membership to finalize.

Your one-time membership is ready for the storefront!

Subscription memberships are great for ongoing perks and recurring revenue. Here’s how to set one up:

Step 1: From the Memberships page, click Create New Membership and select Subscription.

Step 2: Name your subscription and add a description, tag color, and image.

Step 3: Set the recurring price for the membership.

Step 4: Define the sales tax and add wallet credits if desired.

Step 5: Choose to Display in Storefront for customers to be able to purchase, and set agreement requirements if you want them to sign a consent.

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: Add coupons for members, including number of units and how long you want the coupon to be valid.

Step 8: Click Next

Step 9: You can assign specific discounts to products or service categories. Choose a category, then apply a flat dollar or percentage discount.

Step 10: You can also select specific products or services you want to include and configure the exact discount for each.

Step 11: When all discounts are applied, click Next

Step 12: Now you are in the billing page to customize the membership charges. In billing period, choose how often membership renews (monthly, annually, etc.).

Step 13: Decide the billing cycle for members: from the purchase date, the 1st of the month, or 15th of each month.

Step 14: Set limits for billing cycles—for example, unlimited renewals or a minimum membership commitment.

Step 15: Click Create Membership to activate your subscription package.
