How to Set Up the InBody Integration in Prospyr

Connect your InBody account to Prospyr

Follow these steps to set up the InBody integration and automatically sync InBody scan data to your patients’ charts in Prospyr.

Before setting up the InBody integration:

  1. Contact Prospyr Customer Support to request that the InBody integration be enabled for your account.

  2. Confirm your LookinBody Web account is eligible for API access. InBody requires an active LookinBody Web account that is either currently on a paid subscription or has available credit from a newly purchased InBody device. Your InBody device must also be connected so InBody can confirm eligibility.

  3. Before connecting InBody with Prospyr, complete the LookinBody Web API Application Form provided by InBody. Once the form is submitted, the InBody team will review your information and follow up with you directly regarding next steps.

Once both steps are complete, you can continue with the integration setup instructions below.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Integrations > InBody.

Step 2: This page lists the details you need for setup.

Step 3: Click Open LookinBody Web to log in to the InBody API portal.

Step 4: The portal should look like this:

Step 5: Select Setup in the InBody API portal.

Step 6: Copy the Prospyr IP address and add it to the API allowlist in the InBody API portal.

Step 7: Create a new webhook in the InBody portal and enter a name for the webhook, such as Prospyr.

Step 8: Copy the webhook URL from Prospyr and paste the URL into the webhook configuration on the InBody side.

Step 9: Generate a new API key in the InBody portal by clicking Get New Key.

Step 10: Copy the API key and paste it into the corresponding field in Prospyr.

Step 11: Enter the LookinBody account ID associated with the account that serves your practice.

Step 12: Click Save and Verify. Prospyr will verify the connection before saving your changes.

Step 13: Once you see the check mark, your InBody data will automatically begin syncing to the corresponding patient charts in Prospyr.

How InBody scans sync to Prospyr

Once your InBody integration is connected, completed scans are automatically sent to Prospyr and synced in the background. You do not need to manually sync your scans. The results will automatically populate in the patient’s profile under Medical Information in the Body Composition tab.

Tip: Make sure you enter the patient's identifying information when completing an InBody scan so Prospyr can automatically match the results to the correct patient. We recommend including the patient's phone number or email address. Prospyr can also match using the patient's name and date of birth.

If a scan doesn't match to a patient

If Prospyr can't automatically match an InBody scan to a patient, go to Settings > Integrations > InBody > Scroll down to Review. Any unmatched scans will appear here, where you can associate the scan with the correct patient.
