Creating and Managing Storefront Promotions

Learn how to create a new promotion in your online e-boutique, or edit an existing one

Promotions help you attract customers and boost sales by offering discounts on specific products and/or services. Follow these steps to create and manage a promotion in your online storefront.

Step 1: Go to your storefront settings and click your storefront name.

Step 2: Click the Promotions tab, then select Create promotion.

Step 3: Enter a name for your promotion.

Step 4: Add a description if you’d like to provide more details.

Step 5: Toggle Available for shipping if the promotion can be shipped to customers. Upload an image to make your promotion stand out.

Step 6: Select the location where you want the promotion to be available.

Step 7: In the Services section, list all products and/or services included in the promotion.

Helpful Tip: Even though it says service, you can also search for the name of a product to add retail options to your promotions!

Step 8: Specify the quantity available for the promotion and choose the discount type—either a percentage or a fixed dollar amount.

Step 9: Enter the discount value.

Step 10: To add more products and/or services, click Add service to promotion.

Step 11: If you need to remove an item, click the remove button.

Step 12: Set the promotion’s start and end dates by clicking the calendar button and choosing your preferred dates and times.

Step 13: Toggle Allow preview if you want customers to see the promotion before the promotion start date. They won’t be able to purchase it until the start date.

Step 14: To set a limit for purchase, add a value under Max per cart.

Step 15: If the promotion is taxable, enter your tax rate.

Step 16: Once everything looks good, click Submit to create your promotion.

Please Note: It will take approximately 10 minutes for the promotion to populate on the live version of the storefront. This is to keep the purchasing experience snappy for your customers.


Manage and Edit Promotions

Fine-tune your promotions and keep them organized for the best customer experience.

Step 1: To reorder promotions, click the order button.

Step 2: Drag and drop promotions into the desired sequence. Click Done when finished.

Step 3: To change a promotion’s category, click the category selector and choose the new category.

Step 4: To edit an existing promotion, click the Edit button. Make your changes, then hit Submit to save.
