Find answers to common questions about the Rewards Program, including referral codes, patient enrollment, reward stacking, terms and conditions, and more.

This article provides answers to frequently asked questions about the Rewards Program and how it works for both staff and patients.

Where can patients view the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions?

Patients will see an invitation in the Patient Portal to join the Rewards Program. When they click Join Now, any Terms and Conditions you added during setup will appear for them to review. The screenshots below show the invitation message and the Terms and Conditions screen that patients see when joining the program.

How do patients know they have been enrolled in the Rewards Program?

Patients can view their rewards information, available rewards, and points balance within the Patient Portal once they have been enrolled.

Where do patients enter a referral code when booking online?

New patients can enter a referral code during online booking on the appointment confirmation page before completing their booking.

If the new patient books using a referral link shared by a friend, the referral code is automatically applied and does not need to be entered manually.

Can referral rewards be combined with other rewards?

In most cases, yes. Referral Rewards stack with Consumption Rewards, Manual Action Rewards, and Automatic Action Rewards.

The only exception is when a patient qualifies for both a Referral Reward and the First Visit Completed Action Reward. In this case, the points awarded depend on the selected Accumulate options when the First Visit Completed Action Reward was set up.

Can I limit rewards to specific locations?

Location-specific rewards are not currently supported.

Can points be adjusted manually?

Yes. Points can be added or removed manually from a patient's rewards account.

What happens if a referral is added after the appointment has already been booked?

Referral rewards are triggered based on the referral relationship established in the system. If a referral needs to be adjusted after the fact, points can be awarded manually.

Can patients see their referral code?

Yes. Patients can view and share their referral code from the Patient Portal.
