With Prospyr invoices, you can now add custom discounts to any line item. These can be a fixed amount (e.g., $100 off) or a % amount (e.g., 20% off), and they will only apply to the line item you want to discount. Watch below to learn more!

To begin, open any invoice, we'll click on an invoice link from a patient's chart. Once you've done that, you can go ahead and edit the invoice.

Take a look at the invoice. It currently has one line item, which is a consultation service priced at $500.

If you want to add a discretionary discount, it's as simple as clicking on the menu icon and selecting the 'Add discount' option.

You have the option to add either a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount.

For this example, let's add a fixed amount discount.

Go ahead and take off $100.

Now, apply the discount.

After applying the discount, you can see that a tag appears indicating the discount amount, and the balance due has changed by $100.

If you ever want to remove the discount you added, simply click the X button on the discount tag.
