Updating a Payment Method on a Subscriptions

This article explains how to change the billing method for a subscriptions. This can be required if:

  1. A change is requested by the customer

  2. A payment method is no longer valid (e.g., fails multiple times)

To update a payment method, you'll want to take the following steps:

Click on the patients membership tag on their profile (this will be the tag with the name of their membership and their next billing date):

Select "Update Payment Method":

Use an existing, valid card on file, or input a new payment method to complete the update:

It is important to confirm that the billing address shown matches that of the new payment method being added.
