Patient Tags in Prospyr
Patient tags allow you to see and store key patient information in the heading of their patient profile. These can be used to highlight critical information at a glance.
There are two types of patient tags: automatic and custom.
Prospyr automatically adds patient tags in the following scenarios:
The patient has an active membership
The patient has indicated on intake forms or the staff has recorded that the patient has a relevant allergy
The patient has given a media consent
Custom tags can be used to tag patients based on any criteria selected by the practice (e.g., and "Employee" tag for employee patient accounts.
Membership Tags
Any subscriptions the patient is subscribed to will automatically generate a subscription tag. The tag will display the membership and the next billing date (if relevant). By hovering over the membership tag, you can see how long the patient has been a member.
If the membership is a subscription, you can easily change the payment method used for automatic withdrawal or cancel the subscription after clicking on the tag.
Media Consent Tags
Media consent tags will also auto-generate if the patient has filled out a media consent. These tags will quickly inform you whether or not the patient has granted consent.
Allergy Tags
Any allergies indicated on an intake form or via the medical info tab will automatically populate as tags. They will show in red to draw attention.
Custom Tags
To add any custom, click on Add Tag underneath the patient's information
You can select an existing tag from the dropdown, or begin typing to search the list or create a new tag.
Once text is entered, you'll see the option to select from the existing tags or create a new one.
Once the tag is created or selected, it will populate at the end of the list of tags
To delete a custom tag from a patient's profile, click on the X icon. Tags for allergies and memberships cannot be deleted.
