Clearing your browser's cache and cookies removes old, stored versions of Prospyr's web pages so your browser loads the newest version of the app. This article is for anyone using Prospyr in a web browser — front-desk staff, providers, and practice owners — on a computer, iPhone, or iPad.
Note: Clearing your cache does not delete any patient data, charting, or records stored in Prospyr. Cache and cookies only affect what's saved locally in your browser — things like login sessions and page files — not anything stored in the Prospyr database.
When should I clear my cache?
Clear your cache if you notice any of the following in Prospyr:
Pages that won't load, load incorrectly, or look visually broken
Buttons or features that seem "stuck" or missing after a recent update
You're logged out unexpectedly or can't log in
A support rep asks you to as a first troubleshooting step
Important: Clearing cache and cookies will sign you out of Prospyr and most other websites you're logged into in that browser. Have your Prospyr login handy before you start.
