In this article, you'll learn how to set up an automated birthday message for patients. This feature allows you to create personalized messages that will be sent automatically.
Step 1: Navigate to the direct marketing tab.
Step 2: Proceed to audiences.
Step 3: Click on Create audience and select custom targeted audiences. Press continue.
Step 4: Name this audience as birthday. Ensure to select automated audience as the type. Click continue.
Step 5: In the criteria section, go to the time based section.
Step 6: Look for birthday. If you wish to send messages a day before their birthday, enter one day and hit the plus button.
Step 7: A preview of all patients with upcoming birthdays will appear. Press continue.
Step 8: Confirm all details and click create.
Step 9: Now, you're ready to create an email or an SMS campaign. Let's create an SMS campaign.
Step 10: Name your campaign. For instance, Birthday text.
Step 11: Set up your message content.
Step 12: Again, select automated audience as the type and birthday as the audience.
Step 13: Click save and then turn on. The system will now monitor for any birthdays coming up in one day and send them your prepared text message.
Step 14: You also have the option to send a test message to yourself.
