Overview:
When an invoice is saved as a quote or paid in full, navigating to it will open the existing invoice view. From this view, you'll have the ability to take key actions such as:
Reviewing and updating key information such as provider service credit
View sale dates and due dates
Trigger or record refunds
Send quotes or receipts to patients
Delete quotes
Any invoice metadata (due date, provider, cashier, messages, and internal notes), can be updated without needing to open the invoice creator. Simply click the item you are attempting to update to change it.
The only actions that now require the edit invoice button are adjustments to line items and discounts.
Note: A user's role must have the permission enabled to Edit Invoice to take any action aside from updating the internal note or message.

Refunds:
To Trigger a refund, you can take the following steps:
Note: A user's role must have the permission enabled to refund payment in order to complete the following process
Select the Payments Section of the Invoice Summary and Hit the Refund Payment Option:
Indicate if the refund is a full or a partial refund (and, if partial, the refund amount):
Select how the invoice will adjust based on the refund, how the refund will be delivered, and record the reason:
Note: For the first question, use YES to void payment if made in error or if a new payment will replace this method. This will adjust the balance due on the invoice
To complete the refund, hit Process Refund.
