Configuring your Prospyr AI Assistant

This article will walk you through configuring and adding an AI Agent to your website

In this article, you'll learn how to set up an AI assistant on your website. This includes configuring the assistant's appearance and training it with specific knowledge.

Before we dive in, lets go over what your Prospyr AI Assistant can do for you:

  • Help visitors to your website book appointments (will follow all booking rules and appropriately collect deposits / no show payment methods)

  • Answer questions about your locations, providers, and available service catalog

  • Answer questions with answers grounded in data learned from Knowledge you share with the AI Assistant

    • This can be a complete scan of your website

    • Any PDF or word docs you upload with your practice policies, client education, etc.,

    • Any custom knowledge that you type in or copy & paste into the Knowledge system

Step 1: Navigate to the settings of your website.

Step 2: Select the AI assistant option.

Step 3: You'll notice two tabs - the AI agent tab and the knowledge tab. The AI agent tab allows you to configure the AI agent,

while the knowledge tab lets you train the agent with knowledge specific to your practice.

Step 4: Let's start with configuring the agent. The brand color option controls the color of buttons and unique elements in the agent to match your brand.

Step 5: The color mode option lets you choose whether the agent appears in light mode or dark mode.

Step 6: Customize the welcome message to greet users in your AI assistant chat.

Step 7: Set up conversation starters. These are four sample conversations that guide users in interacting with your assistant.

Step 8: Upload the logo you want to appear at the top of the AI assistant widget screen. After configuring everything, click on the get embed code button.

Step 9: Customize the color of the button and click copy.

Step 10: Paste the copied code into the layout or landing page of your website.

Step 11: Now, let's move to the knowledge tab. This is where you add knowledge that your AI assistant can answer questions about.

Step 12: To add a knowledge source, click on add knowledge source. You can import knowledge from a website, a file, or free text.

Step 13: Click on website.

Step 14: Enter the root URL of your website. The agent will go through your site map and learn from every page. After entering the site, click on create knowledge source.

Step 15: The knowledge gathering and learning process will begin. This process can take anywhere from five to ten minutes. Once complete, the agent will start answering questions based on the knowledge it has learned.
